Emily is a childcare professional with over 10 years experience working with Early Years. She has Public Liability Insurance and a DBS certificate
Emily will set up, be on hand during the party and clear everything away.
There are washing stations and towels, so no sticky car seats.
The whole process, from planning to the party itself, was so easy. And we loved the personal touches Emily put in place to make sure it was a really special celebration.
Our little boy absolutely loved it and it was so great to see him getting stuck in, exploring the messy play. Added bonus had to be all of the mess but none of the clearing up!
We absolutely loved the party. The beautiful trays, the rose theme, the songs and the bubbles. We think it was really good value for money and it saved me a lot of stress on the day so I could concentrate on setting up nibbles, etc. We highly recommend Wriggle Roos!
The Perfect Package
We know it doesn't suit everyone to have a super messy party, which is why we've come up with two different packages.
I can create themes in either package including dinosaurs, under the sea and animals.
Choose 5 activity stations:
Includes non-sticky sensory play like moonsand, rainbow rice, play dough, water play, ribbon & cereal.
It means your guests can get stuck into the party without getting sticky.
Choose 3 activity stations from the Less Mess package and an additional 2 activity stations from the below.
You can choose trays of custard, spaghetti, jelly, slime, smash, tapioca and much more.
For the sticky fun seekers, guaranteed to be a party to remember!

You can have 5 activity stations of your choice:
5 stations from the Less Mess setups
3 stations from the Less Mess setups
+ 2 from More Mess.

Prices are based on you hosting your party at the St Werburghs community centre. If you would like to host your party at an alternative venue, please first check that they are happy to host a messy play party. I will then quote you based on mileage and travel time to get to/from your venue from our headquarters in St Werburghs
How long does the party last?
You will need to book your venue for 3 hours.
This is how the timings work out:
Set up the party room
Party start time! 1 hour of Wriggle Roos messy play, ending on
singing, bubbles & parachute
Emily to clear and pack away. Feel free to use this time to share food
while I start the pack down.
Ideally the last half hour the room will be free from guests so I can clean the floors, etc.
How do I book and pay?
First, check Wriggle Roos is available on your desired date. Let me know exactly
what you would like in your party and I will send you a bespoke quote. If we are
free, go ahead and book your venue for 3 hours. I will then send you a Booking
Confirmation form with all the party details and the terms and conditions of the
Please pay for the party no later than 2 weeks prior to the date of your party via a bank transfer. All payment details will be included on your Booking Confirmation
I can design you a personalised party invitation to send out to your guests that
includes all the information for your guests.
You just give me a cute photo of the birthday child and I will do the rest. £5 for the digital copy.
I can also make rainbow wriggle rice or homemade playdough gifts for your guests to take home after the party for an additional cost per child.

What will happen at the party?
Your guests will arrive to find a room full of exciting messy and sensory activities.
I will be on hand to greet your guests and introduce what is in the trays and answer any questions. I will be present during the party just to keep on top of any mess or spills.
After 55 mins of messy play I will let everyone know it’s time for bubbles, and pile up the trays in one corner. I will ask all kids and their grown ups to come sit in a circle and join in some singing with puppets, musical instruments and the parachute.
I usually end on ‘Happy Birthday’ and this signifies the end of the Wriggle Roo Party. This is a good time to wash hands, and share some party food/cake before your guests go home. I will use this time to start packing away.
Where can I have the party?
We recommend hosting your party at St Werburghs community centre. It has a number of lovely rooms, an onsite cafe (that also does catering) an enclosed sensory toddler garden with a slide and free street parking.
However, I can host your party at any venue (that allows messy play). Please check with the venue first.
My insurance also covers hosting the party in private homes, if you feel you have the space to accommodate the party. Please feel free to talk through your options.
